Chemical peels are extremely safe, however, if you have a sunburn or skin that has recently been overexposed to the sun, you should not have this procedure done. You also should not have use self-tanner for at least 2 weeks prior to this procedure. If you are on any topical prescription medications, you must consult your Doctor prior to receiving a peel. Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding should not have a peel
